NASA's Kennedy Space Center...
A few years ago, I won a Millennium Award and went to the Kennedy Space Centre, Florida.
While there, I went through the Astronaut Training Experience (ATX). This was going through a Mission on a full size simulator of the Discovery Space Shuttle. Our goal, to work our way from Launch to Landing, including all the bits in between.

We were given a VIP tour of NASA, visiting the Launch Pad, and where they are making the International Space Station (ISS). The Astronaut we had with us was Don Peterson (Colonel, USAF, ret.) He was one of the first to do a Spacewalk from the Space Shuttle. Since we did this, the Astronaut Training Experience is now open to the paying public.

Don Peterson, Astronaut, is in the white t-shirt; I'm bottom right.
